It used to be the simple things, hidden cures, 'completely random and unproblematic' murders, scientifically modified diseases, etc. That was only the beginning though, for in 2095 when the new president was elected, a twisted woman by the name of Naomi Reul thought of a new way. This way was marks, injections that would randomly add a dark stroke to the subject's under-wrist in front of the entire world. Ages 18 and under had to do it, people over this were already to 'valuable' to the economy. Really, they were just lucky. You would have a clue, you would feel it coming, you'd know if you were one of the unlucky thousands. A little sick feeling, maybe. Most people who have witnessed a Subject get a mark have said strange things happen until they are finally taken away, dealt with.
